The United Benefice of Sharnbrook, Felmersham and Knotting with Souldrop

Pastoral Group

The Pastoral Group meets three times a year sharing and reporting on those we have been in touch with, either by card or by visits. This is done in complete confidence at all times. The Group works quietly for all members of our congregation at St Peter’s and the community. Also if requested we would contact local clergy on your behalf. The Prayer Book kept in the Lady Chapel is an aid to us; used for special prayers to be entered. Please contact if needed: Mrs Jane Roberts, Mrs Lynda Newman, Mrs Jean Woollard, Mrs Alison Monk or Mrs Jesmary Gaunt.  For Full Details of this months Services Please Click this link:          MONTHLY SERVICES For Full Details of Future Events in the Benefice Click theis Link:     FORTHCOMING EVENTS

ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETINGS  - A TIME FOR RENEWAL

Due to the COVID 19 epedemic our APCM’s were delayed for 6 months and as we are still under a non- gathering situation, the meetings for St. Peter’s Sharnbrook and St. Mary’s Felmersham will take place on ZOOM on the 20th. October and the 21st. October respectiveley - commenceing at 7.30 p.m. ZOOM links will be given nearer the dates in the weekly Pew Notice. These are Public Meetings although only members of the Electoral Rolls will be eliible to vote. All Saints Souldrop have already held their APCM.  It is the annual opportunity to review the electoral roll (for which the deadline for notifying amendments is Monday October 5th). It is also the occasion for confirming Churchwardens for the coming year, and electing new members to the Parochial Church Council. There are vacancies to be filled this year; there is much to be done, but plenty of opportunity to specialise on projects of specific interest. We will also welcome renewed pledges of support for other aspects of our Vision and Mission:-                    For Example: Train to be a Lay Worship Leader or Reader Join our Pastoral Support Group Read a lesson and give Intercessions Be a Server at Communion Help with administration Join the Choir Help to clean the Church Help with Refreshments Help with the sound system Help to ‘live stream’ services
St. Peter’s APCM Reports Distribution of the above by email took place on Monday 6th April.  Hard copies are being printed for those on the Electoral Roll who do not have an email account. The reports may also be viewed via the Church website by clicking this link: St. Peter’s APCM Reports   If you are not on the Electoral Roll, but would like to receive an electronic copy, please send an email request to apeterscott@btinternet.com .
